Valletta Hotels
Valetta, the Malta’s capital has a long and rich history. From the temples and colonnades of the Knights of Saint John to the Baroque majesty of its churches, Valletta is crammed full of extraordinary sights. The city’s old-world charms have made it a much sought-after destination for tourists and it’s not hard to see why. Valletta is wonderful place to spend a holiday, but it’s not always easy to find accommodation in the city. Hotels in Valletta are often fully booked, so what are your options if you want to stay in the city?
One option is to stay in a hotel in the neighbouring town of Sliema. Sliema is just a short bus or taxi ride from Valletta and it has its own share of attractions, including a lovely seafront promenade. Hotels in Sliema are usually much cheaper than those in Valletta and there are plenty of them to choose from.
Another option is to stay in a hotel in another town on the island and commute to Valletta each day. There are lots of lovely towns on Malta with plenty of hotels to choose from. The only disadvantage of this option is that it can be quite expensive to travel between the towns and Valletta.
If you don’t want to stay in a hotel, there are plenty of other options. You could stay in a hostel, a B&B or a Airbnb. These are all much cheaper than hotels and they often have a more personal feel.
Whichever option you choose, Valletta is definitely worth a visit. With its lovely squares, imposing buildings and stunning views, the city is sure to take your breath away.
